At this time, specific details regarding the upcoming platforms or further features have not been disclosed.
The original 2nd Super Robot Wars Z was divided into two parts: Ruination and Regeneration. Currently, only Ruination’s remaster has been officially announced.
The newest installment in the franchise is scheduled for release in 2025 on PlayStation 5, titled Super Robot Wars Y.
Super Robot Wars is described as a tactical RPG that uses a grid-based combat system, combining various units and pilots from different anime series to fight common enemies. Players place their units and direct their pilots in strategic battles, upgrading and training them with credits and resources earned through missions.
