Locations of KKK Clans: Where to Find Them

While playing Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll eventually come across random events, including encounters with Ku Klux Klan members. However, these encounters aren’t as easy to find as others. Since they happen infrequently, you’ll need to know their exact locations if you want to find and defeat all of them.

It’s important to know that killing KKK members increases Arthur Morgan’s honor points in the game, so don’t hesitate to bring justice. There are only three opportunities to encounter these members, so knowing where to find them will save you time. Also, don’t be shy about using powerful weapons or explosives; fights with these groups can be tough.

    KKK Clan Encounter #1: Location

    Nighttime, North of Rhodes

Mark this area just north of Rhodes on your map, preferably when it’s dark out. Night is the only time you’ll be able to spot members of the KKK in this area, and the encounter tends to happen quickly. During this event, Arthur catches members burning a cross to start a new member.

Tip: Some encounters only happen at night, especially when clan members are busy with their ceremonies. If you attack and some escape, it can raise your wanted level.

When you come across this group, they are upset about government policies limiting their membership. You can listen to their dialogue briefly before taking them out, which can be quite humorous and highlight the foolishness of prejudice. If you choose not to intervene, you’ll see that some members accidentally catch fire during their cross-burning, which can make the cleanup easier. However, if you want to keep your bounty low, you can let one or two escape.

    KKK Clan Encounter #2: Location

    Morning, Near Flatneck Station

After your first encounter, head to the area between the Dakota River and Flatneck Station, but only during morning or noon. This is the only KKK meeting that doesn’t happen at night. Here, members are also trying to burn a cross, but this time they end up crushing themselves under it — making it easy for Arthur to clear out the group.

Even if you don’t attack, Arthur may make a sarcastic comment that causes the remaining members to attack you. Once again, all members here will turn hostile eventually, and none can be spared.

    KKK Clan Encounter #3: Location

    Nighttime, Near Wallace Station

The final gathering takes place southeast of Wallace Station, as seen on the map. Like the first encounter, this happens only at night. The members seem a bit disappointed with poor attendance, possibly because of your earlier interference.

There are four members at this site, and half may run off if you cause the cross to misfire. Be quick—you’ll want to eliminate them fast to boost Arthur’s honor points before they escape. During the event, two members accidentally set themselves on fire, providing an easy cleanup.

    Rewards and Loot

After defeating the KKK members, you can loot their bodies for two interesting documents. One is called “Meeting Notes,” which gives insight into the Klan’s activities, and the other is “Letter To Pa,” a personal note from someone leaving home.

Following the clues from these items, you can locate two KKK organizers in Saint-Denis and the Eugenics Supporter. Defeating these characters doesn’t require warrants or cause honor point loss, and there are no consequences for taking them out, even if lawmen are nearby.

Since Rockstar has a reputation for controversial content, it’s no surprise they included these Klan encounters. Arthur Morgan’s dialogue during these fights sometimes includes sharp comments that reveal his decent nature.

Note: I recommend defeating the Eugenics Supporter quickly, as Arthur has some particularly harsh lines for him. While violence usually affects your honor, killing these KKK members is a justified exception—though many players might prefer they were removed from the game entirely at all locations.

If you’re after a mix of justice and story depth, engaging with these encounters adds an interesting layer to your journey in the West.

GTA 6 Hits PlayStation Store Following Release of 2nd Trailer

Sure! Here’s a rewritten version of the content in American English:

Grand Theft Auto VI Now Available for Wishlist on PlayStation Store

The gaming community is buzzing with excitement and disbelief as Grand Theft Auto VI becomes available to wishlist on the PlayStation Store.

This listing went live shortly after Rockstar Games released the second trailer for the game, featuring fresh key art, screenshots, and the official logo.

While pre-orders aren’t open just yet, this development marks a significant step towards the anticipated release of Rockstar’s flagship game.

The listing indicates that GTA VI is set to launch globally at 4 AM UTC on May 26, 2026, firmly establishing the release date.

Currently, the game is exclusively listed on PlayStation platforms, with no entry on the Xbox Store, a detail that has caught the attention of fans.

Rockstar has not yet provided any information regarding when Xbox players will have the opportunity to wishlist or preorder the game.

Although the absence of pre-orders is somewhat unusual, it isn’t surprising. In the past, GTA V’s pre-orders opened soon after its second trailer was released, while Red Dead Redemption 2’s pre-orders began a month following its third trailer.

For GTA VI, it appears that Rockstar and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, may be delaying pre-orders—likely until a third trailer or a formal marketing push later this year.

With over a year until its launch, the current strategy seems focused on building excitement rather than starting transactions.

For fans who have been waiting a decade since the release of GTA V, the ability to wishlist the next installment in the franchise feels like a significant milestone.

For now, PlayStation users can enjoy the realization that GTA VI is no longer just a rumor or a leak—it’s real, tangible, and steadily moving toward launch.

  • Where to Sell Stolen Items in RDR2

Arthur Morgan may demonstrate compassion throughout Red Dead Redemption 2, but he remains an outlaw. As the player guiding his actions, you’re likely to engage in various criminal activities, from robbing people to stealing items, as you explore the game.

In this realistic setting, you can’t just sell the stolen goods to any shop you come across. Instead, you need to visit specific locations where folks operate outside the law. These places are known as fences, and in this guide, you’ll find the locations of all the fences in the game.

Fences become accessible only after you move past the snowy landscape of Chapter One.

    Rhodes Fence

In Rhodes, which is part of the main storyline, you’ll find the fence situated just north of the town, near Braithwaite Manor, rather than right in the center. The fence operates out of a small red shack. To access the fence, you can’t enter through the front door; instead, you’ll need to go around to the back and use a stable door to conduct your business.

    Saint-Denis Fence

The Saint-Denis fence is introduced to you during the "Help a Brother Out" mission. Located in the southeast corner of the map, this fence can be found on the eastern side of the city. As you navigate through the market area filled with stalls, look for a wall sign that reads "Pawnbroker." The entrance is through a green door near that sign.

    Van Horn Trading Post Fence

On the eastern side of the map, you’ll discover Van Horn Trading Post, a small town featuring docks. The fence is located at the end of the longest dock. The building is marked with the words "Van Horn Trading Post" in white lettering, set against a red background.

    Emerald Ranch Wagon Fence

Once you complete "The Spines of America" mission with Hosea, you’ll gain access to the Emerald Ranch fence, which is situated in the Heartlands between Van Horn Trading Post and Valentine. This fence is located at the southern edge of the ranch, connected to a large barn, specifically serving as a wagon fence, meaning you can deliver stolen wagons here. Seamus, who operates outside the barn, will buy regular stolen items.

    Clemens Point Horse Fence

North of Clemens Point, there’s a fence that specializes in horses. Located in the Scarlet Meadows area, just northwest of Rhodes, you’ll find a few rundown buildings. Behind them are two men who run this fence, strictly dealing with the sale of horses—not interested in other stolen goods.

    Important Note

Remember, the map icon for the Horse fence only shows up when you’re riding a horse, so keep that in mind as you explore.

  • Unlocking the Secrets of Chick’s Treasure Map

Unlocking the Secrets of Chick’s Treasure Map

Treasure maps in Red Dead Redemption 2 serve as guides featuring landmarks that lead Arthur to hidden riches. Some of these maps can be tricky to locate, especially when surrounded by a jumble of rocks and trees. In Chapter 2, players can acquire a treasure map from Chick Matthews, who has debts with the gang.

Chick’s treasure map is one of the first you’ll encounter in the game’s narrative. Its purpose is to help players get accustomed to interpreting treasure maps, though it doesn’t provide a specific map marker and comes with a time constraint. Failing to find the treasure promptly can cause you to lose this mission entirely.

Where to Find Chick’s Treasure Map

Tracking Down the Escaping Ranch Hand

Chick Matthews is introduced during the Chapter 2 mission, “Money Lending and Other Sins,” where Leopold Strauss sends Arthur to collect a debt from him. You can find Chick at Guthrie Ranch, located just south of the Heartland Overflow in the Heartlands. When you reach Guthrie Ranch and inquire about him, you’ll see him trying to escape on horseback.

Simply chase Chick down and use your lasso; he’ll reveal that he stashed his money in a tree. After capturing him, you can loot his body to retrieve Chick’s treasure map.

If deciphering the map seems challenging, here’s a helpful tip: each step on the map is marked with a small Roman numeral indicating the order in which you’ll encounter them. The first sketch points out the general area of the tree, followed by a depiction of the tree itself, and then it directs you to the hollow where the treasure is hidden. The initial illustration is crucial for successfully locating the treasure.

Since the mission can be failed if you delay too long, make sure to head swiftly to the location of Chick Matthews’ treasure. With a reliable horse at your disposal, you can quickly fulfill Chick’s debt to the gang.

    Chick’s Treasure Map Treasure Location

    Finding the Money Tree

Chick’s treasure map points to a tree hollow he mentioned when you hogtied him, but finding that specific tree can be quite challenging for some players. Fortunately, it’s located northeast of Guthrie Farm, between the Heartland Overflow and Moonstone Pond. The exact location is marked on the accompanying map.

Upon reaching the area, look for a large tree that resembles the one illustrated on the treasure map. Walk around the tree until you find a small hole; that’s where Chick’s money is hidden. Once you’ve secured the loot, you can continue to collect other debts in “Money Lending and Other Sins.” Now that you’re clued into how treasure maps work in Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll be able to find more treasures swiftly.

Treasure Maps Locations & Rewards Explained

What They Do & Are They Worth It

Throughout the game, you can find a total of six treasure maps. Each has multiple steps, with some only available at specific times, including during the Epilogue when the Elemental Trail map becomes accessible. Missing one map isn’t likely to impact you significantly, but the best treasure maps do offer quite valuable loot.

Additionally, there is a seventh treasure map that can only be accessed by players who pre-ordered certain versions of the game, known as the Le Tresor des Morts Treasure Map.

The Torn Treasure Maps, featured in YouTuber South’s video and divided into the Annesburg Sketches and Otis Miller Treasure, yield some unique rewards. Most other treasure maps lead to gold bars, which are certainly beneficial, but this particular map offers even more. Along the way, players can obtain a Rare Shotgun from the Manito Glade Hermit, and after completing the quest, you’ll also receive Otis’ Revolver. There may also be some less desirable items, but the weapons make the hunt worthwhile.

All treasure maps and their corresponding rewards are summarized in the table below to help you decide whether the treasure hunt is worth pursuing in Red Dead Redemption 2.

    Treasure Map Reward
Jack Hall Gang 2 Gold Bars
    High Stakes 3 Gold Bars
    Poisonous Trails 4 Gold Bars
Torn Treasure Rare Shotgun; Otis’ Revolver; various pictures
Les Tresor Des Morts (Pre-order only) 7 Gold Bars (1 optional)
Elemental Trail (PC & Epilogue only) 1 Gold Bar; Crows Beak Trinket
Landmarks of Riches (PC only) 6 Gold Bars

Now you’re equipped with everything you need to decide whether to embark on a treasure hunt in Red Dead Redemption 2!

  • RDR2 High Stakes Treasure Map Location Guide

RDR2 High Stakes Treasure Map Location Guide

There are three treasure maps associated with High Stakes Treasures in RDR2, and your quest for these maps kicks off when you encounter one of the Strangers. During your adventure, you will visit various locations, earning several rewards, all while progressing in your primary mission.

This guide will cover the steps needed to locate the High-Stakes Treasure Maps in Red Dead Redemption 2. Without further ado, let’s dive right in.

High Stakes Treasure Map #1 Location

    RDR2 High Stakes Treasure

Before you can pursue this map, make sure you finish Chapter 3, as the Stranger who provides this quest will not be available until then. Look for the Stranger on the path between Wallace Station and Cumber Falls, although there’s a chance you might come across him in the Heartlands as well.

Once you’ve met the Stranger and received the map, head over to Cumberland Falls to find the treasure. There is a small trail on the eastern side of the waterfall that allows you to go behind it. The map can be located above a ledge in the upper right corner of that nook.

High Stakes Treasure Map #2 Location

For this map, your destination is Barrow Lagoon, situated northwest of Valentine in the Western Grizzlies. Ensure you wear warm clothing, as you’re headed into a colder region. You’ll find a log bridge to cross, just after which the treasure map awaits.

High Stakes Treasure Map #3 Location

    RDR2 High Stakes Treasure

This map can be a bit tricky to find due to the winding path detailed in the previous map. You need to head towards Bacchus Station and then go west of the “S” in “station,” towards the large hill. Upon reaching the top, you’ll discover a path leading to a ledge. Follow this path carefully.

To avoid slipping, remember to sprint. As you round the rocks’ corner, jump and you’ll spot a ledge below. Make that jump, and upon landing, you’ll find another ledge. Jump to this one and crouch as you navigate around the corner. The treasure map will be waiting for you, along with three Gold Bars in a nearby nook, each valued at $500.
